Our highly anticipated expansion is only a few weeks away and it's time we properly introduce you to our newest co-owner and cake-extraordinaire——Megan Cooper.


Megan (or Megs) is also the founder of The Bake House, formerly loved as The White Pineapple, Heartwood & Co.'s very own in-house specialty bake shop. 

After acing a Visual Arts degree Megs embraced her pastry dreams, graduating from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts and baking in the West Coast ever since.

Her custom cakes and treats are inspired by light, clean, tropical reveries. Using the finest ingredients, The Bake House caters to any one who savours rich flavours with a modern finish.

Megs' delicious creations are available and totally recommended for special events and everyday cravings. Whatever you desire, she's got just the right recipe.

In addition to The Bake House, Heartwood & Co.'s new location also features the ultimate space to host your next birthday, your bridal shower, or your no-reason-but-why-not party.  

The Space is an airy and beautiful room bound by brick walls and bay windows. Decorated with Heartwood & Co.'s signature charm, a grand reclaimed-wood table awes beneath skylights. It's the perfect place to host friends, laugh, and enjoy The Bake House's sweet-sweet sweets.

So, as we near our reveal we hope to continue to impress our wonderful clients with Heartwood & Co. updates, including more information on The Space.
